About the Jack Tesmer Institute - Model - People - Clients
The design of an organization must
complement the market it serves for it to be effective and competitive. The Jack Tesmer Institute has developed
assessment instruments (see Assessments) that
measure the
market type and the organization archetype or style.

Once
the market and organization type are known, gaps are identified and a strategy developed to either transform the organization so that it compliments the market type or to move the organization into a new market space.
Transforming an organization between different archetypes or styles is difficult. The challenges facing an organization depends upon the shift that is required. We have highlighted some of the more
typical challenges and issues faced when making changes from one organization archetype or
another here.
Knowing the market type and the organizational archetype is the beginning. Then the hard part comes along -- making the change.
